the way both he and nicola got bullied because of something out of their control - switching the story order - is fucking insane. and i can not believe some of these people have made me a defender of an attractive white man who can get whatever he wants if he tried because show fans have been BRUTAL about everything in this dude's life, but the one thing that bugs me is them attacking his portrayal of colin. then i get defensive lmao he plays that dodo so well people don't understand nuance and microexpressions at all

Right?! lol I actually think he’s a perfect Colin. And yeah right off the hop Bridgerton fans were weirdly worked up about the book order switch.

As you said, not that I want to go out of my way to defend a good looking white boy, but he actually seems like a genuinely sweet person so the fact that he’s getting torn apart for not dating Bridgerton fan’s self insert is ridic. That is not me hating on Nic either because she is my favourite and I absolutely adore her. You can see she tries to show him support on social media in an attempt to get people to calm their tits and get off his back but they don’t seem to get it lol they then accuse him of never returning the favour and never praising Nicola. He’s in a literal no win situation at this point.

Anyways, time for me to get off Bridgerton tiktok lol
