yeah, that was ideal to me but after twitter was banned here some of us wanted to keep up with what was happening. then we found out he keeps attacking our soreveignity, he's letting the Nazis go wild and attack LGBTQIA+ people, women and racialized people. it's a very distressing period now because Elon keeps challenging our democracy so alienating myself would make me anxious. but wish to get rid of it all as well :(

Holy shit, I didn’t realise how privileged I came off (not that that’s what you’re getting at) like a lot of news and marginalised voices use shortform posting that Twitter originally was to break news. Especially around censoring or misinformation (like Palestine). I admire the work people are doing for sure, I was affected a lot over the past year by everything here (UK) and elsewhere and how Elon emboldened racists, fascists, minor annoyances like pornbots, bots and ads etc. Also, how I was personally doom posting and scrolling.
