Every time I think about Chester I get so sad, and now a whole other later is added because now Mike is fucking with the band’s legacy :(

What’s everyone’s fav LP songs? Mine are “Breaking the Habit” and “Easier to Run”. I remember checking Meteora out from the library when I was 11-12 and I was obsessed!

godddd, all of hybrid theory. carousel from the hybrid theory ep. my december from the remix album was beautiful <3 i never got the hate for meteora - oh no it's only a little over 30 minutes long. quality over quantity, anyone? i personally think meteora is a masterpiece. i wonder if those same people bitch about all these songs nowadays under 3 mins total.

Anything off Meteora is a fave for me. I was obsessed with that album then and I still am 21 years later. Hybrid Theory is a masterpiece but I was in my pre-teens then so it didn't sink in the same way as Meteora did; I needed to be in that teen angst period.

Will agree with the comment above about everything but especially regarding My December; that song was a lifeline for me at one point. I always play it on the 1st December.

Leave Out All The Rest is another. It came out as single right after my grandfather passed away and it has helped me heal in various other situations for the past 17 years. Same with Waiting For The End.

The change in sound, like fully after MtM, made me step away from being an active fan, and only after Chester's passing I listened to all the other albums and was pleasantly surprised. But I honestly think I needed to be in the same age range as the band was to enjoy some of the songs/lyrics.
