I havent listened to LP since the early aughts, so I truly don’t know much about the members or their characters. But, it sounds like Mike is a trash person (and the rest are too!) and everyone basically silenced Chester’s family. Truly disgusting behavior considering that Chester is the person so many people resonated with and now he’s making the band into this dumpster fire.

Eh... he is entitled to his feelings, and for sure this Emily person needs to be shown the door, but saying Mike's been erasing Chester's legacy is making me cringe. For one, that's simply impossible. And then, it kind of implies Mike's not allowed to move on? When it's been almost 10 years? There's nothing disrespectful about carrying on with the band unless Mike's stealing the rights to Linkin Park, which he isn't as far as I'm aware of.

Like, most fans will probably disapprove of whatever new vocalist they choose and for no good reason unlike with Emily, but that doesn't mean they can't try.

I think he meant erasing as in going against everything that Chester stood for in regards to SA. He even said it in his post, it's not about moving on to the next chapter of Linkin Park, it's that they're moving on with a Chester replacement with values so insanely anti-thesis to Chester's morals and way of life. I don't think he'd care if they went forward under a completely different band name.

God, he had a once in a generation voice. Such effortless power and range and grit. Reminds me a lot of Layne Staley, which fucking breaks my heart...both gone way too soon.

I know people always say this when someone dies but he really was something else. One of a kind.
I feel so lucky I got to see them live.

Good for him. This choice was highly disrespectful of Chester's memory.
