I feel like that sub will insist the photo is fake because everyone on it wanted to be the one to finally find the right picture, and rather than giving props to the person that did every person will choose to not accept it T*ump style because they weren't the one to solve the mystery and get the glory.
I think the person saying it's AI is reaching. They probably just want to be the first to say they knew it if it does end up turning out to be fake. I don't see anything they're talking about.
I understand why people who are invested might be skeptical, but there's no particular reason to think this is a hoax. We'll see if anything else comes out, I guess.
Very funny that the answer to the big mystery seems to be that the designer mistook a random model for Evangeline Lilly when he came across an ad. Guess Kate wasn't one of his favorite characters on Lost.
Yeah, and because she's so much less famous than everyone else on the fabric. Evangeline was a common guess before it was solved. To me, it seems like he just picked up a random magazine, which had some kind of Lost feature and an ad with this model, and chose whichever pictures he liked. Doesn't necessarily have to be that he thought they were the same person. It's just funny to think about.
