Unsurprisingly, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opens with 110$m OW. It ends Deadpool's reign of terror, but the superhero movie is still a very distant 2nd at 6.4$m. Reagan (again, ???) is 3rd with 5.

Saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice on Thursday and enjoyed it! Glad it's doing so well - probably a great crossover audience between those who loved the original and Gen Z Ortega fans.

Last night, we went to see His Three Daughters, which I absolutely looooooooved. I am one of three sisters, so I am sure that made an impact, but it really got me. The cast was fantastic. I'm guessing it's too small for awards love, but it's one of my faves of the year.

I liked Beetlejuice, didn't adore it. Considering seeing The Front Room today, but idk if I want to make the trip just for something that absurd, lol. Wish me luck getting the NYFF tix I want on Friday!!

I got a 6-movie pass, so I can't do Opening Night/Centerpiece/Closing Night 😭 but I try not to see anything w a regular release date coming up soon anyway, so I'll just have to tolerate the FOMO for my King Steve

i liked it as i was watching it, but once it ended, it struck me how terribly the last half of the film was. [Spoiler (click to open)]don't even understand why monica belucci's character was involved, that whole subplot seemed completely irrelevant to the plot and ultimately went nowhere. the dead murderer boyfriend plot was pretty poorly wrapped up as well.
