this was the last time the whole show was ~a moment~

I was at the beach for a family reunion, my niece was in the womb, and we had a baby shower for my sis and watched this with the cousins. my grandmother was still alive. it was a moment I will never forget, and a mostly wonderful trip that would never be repeated.

the night/early morning after my niece was born, I watched her during the nightshift so her folks could sleep, and we were both up at 4 a.m. to watch the premiere of the music video for telephone. I called her baby gaga.

she's cool af jsyk <3 but holy wow @ how time flies the older you get!

FINALLY.

This performance is truly my roman empire, and I'm glad I dont have to look for the potato versions of it anymore.

That whole VMA show was great. It's so annoying how videos/performances like this just disappear. Even now they upload it, it's still in potato definition

I agree & I would fully buy a blu-ray of the 2009 show. But if there's one saving grace to be had, they finally gave us the full uncensored ("that shiiit on the radioooo") version.

That's how it was recorded. I mean they could blow it up using machine-generated imagery like others do.

I remember that this was the first time I ever saw Lady Gaga!

And I still can't believe that they put Katy Perry and Taylor Swift performances in the same nomination category as this performance. Smh.
