They did have one called Lawman: Bass Reeves staring David Oyelowo.

In the interest of fairness (based on Emily from Linkin Park), I'll just say that I'm skipping this largely because Michael Peña is a Scientologist.

I do appreciate though that Demi is getting a career resurgence (and got that terrible facelift fixed, whatever doctor fixed it deserves some sort of award) and that the producer of this show went with a lead better than the truly terrible Kevin Costner this go around.
