I felt like this series had a strong couple of first episodes however the quality appeared to dip as the story unravelled. The last two episodes (excluding the dreamscape EP) were so laborious for me. The most charming character was the mother-in-law but she was surrounded by characters I didn't care for.

Even with its conclusion, I won't be heartbroken if this doesn't get a second season. I'd like to visit Kyoto though!

I agree that it started out well with an interesting premise and then kind of petered out. I knew Mixxy was going to do that at the end (and I hated that it was so predatory that she was going to).

My main takeaway from watching this show is that Kyoto is beautiful!

I stopped watching after that bottleneck episode of the trio being lost in the woods. It was such a horrible episode that turned me off of a show that I was so intrigued by. Going to just binge it now that the first season’s over.

Okay you just validated my feelings on this. I thought I was too bitch eating crackers with this show because I cannot stand rashida jones but this show was a chore to watch lol

I'm glad Rashida sis grew her hair out again.. that cut is doing her no favors. I'm not for robots mixing with humans but it is inevitable.. I just have to remain in denial for a bit. Need to go touch grass brb.

aw, everyone's hating on the show.
I haven't watch the last couple of eps yet but I like it overall: the setting is interesting(Japan and robots are always fun) and the cast is mostly women, tho they aren't entirely likeable which takes guts in this day and age.
