This feels like a good place to ask... I've been watching the Interview with the Vampire tv series and am I crazy or is [Spoiler (click to open)]Claudia playing Debussy with Lestat not a Twilight reference? I haven't seen the original movie or read the books, for context.

Midnight Sun is so so so bad and weird and maybe a good way to shift the perspective on the Bella/Edward romance. I actually see some Lestat in Edward with how controlling Edward is so I'd love if they went that route with it.
