I just finished watching the USA vs Italy sitting volleyball match. 🏐 I knew someone who would be in the crowd, supporting her cousin-in-law on Team USA and sure enough, I spotted her on the arena cam in a wide shot. I used my phone to film the TV, heh
That's so cool! I wish I could have stayed in Paris for the Paralympics. I loved the atmosphere and I'm sure it's just as electric for the Paralympians
China is hilariously dominating the medal table, almost double the total over second place
and hey, hopefully that means China invests well in Paralympic training (it's not just the sheer population, otherwise India would be better in the Olympics and Paralympics)
So...I had tickets for the goalball finals tomorrow evening. Then I saw that the genociding entity made it to the finals, so I sold the ticket. The thought of them winning gold and me having to listen to that anthem playing? Nope. Thankfully, I went to a goalball game already, so I'm not missing out.
Instead, I'm going to see sitting volleyball for the first time! I'll get to see Canada/China and USA/Brazil. I think that's going to be a lot more fun (for me).
Today, I went to see table tennis. Y'all. It's a lot to watch in person. Six games at the same time and your attention is constantly being pulled elsewhere because of people cheering. But it was fun.
