Omg I just watched this today too and I'm so mad it just turned into a Christian movie!!! They really do just move past her being abusive and the abuse she won't through. So disappointing and boring!!

Also I just cannot get over Glenn Close in the movie. I was just going "wut" the whole time lmao.

The fact that the true story is about a mom who was mentally ill and/or straight-up abusive (can't really tell what the truth is) and the message of this is just "find Jesus if you're a bad mom"...I'm getting madder the more I think about it lol

And why did we never hear the kid speaking another language when it was mentioned TWICE? If we get an even longer director's cut I swear to God

I’m a wuss, so I hate horror flicks. But, I ALMOST gave into this because I just needed to see GClose as this character. I read the plot on wiki and decided it was a hard no because I saw it leaning (and then fully jumping) into being a Christian movie. Hell nah.
