David Fincher will reportedly direct a Western crime thriller ‘BEETROOT’ for Netflix.

The film follows an elderly rancher who robs banks & hunts down the thieves that took his life savings while being pursued by his son, who is the sheriff.

See, I didn’t like Mank, but I loved The Killer. The latter felt like a proper Fincher thriller to me.

I like Fincher movies and I like Westerns, so I'm in! At least until he casts Brad Pitt as the elderly rancher, at which point this project will be dead to me.
