A decision has finally been reached: Sabrina Carpenter won the tight race, outselling Travis Scott by a mere 600 units to earn her very first no. 1 album on the Billboard 200 Chart. It was one of the closest calls Billboard had to make. Short n’ Sweet sold 362,000 equivalent album units, of that sum: 233 million on-demand streams and 184,000 pure sales.
Travis Scott’s 2014 mixtape Days Before Rodeo opened at No. 2 and earned a little over 361,000 equivalent album units (40.63 million on-demand streams and 331,000 pure sales).
This call isn't without controversy, as some of Stan Twitter is calling this fraudulent and sus, amongst other things.
