i haven't watched the episode yet, but the first episode was excellent and felt like the first season, so i hope they'll keep the spirit up. i hope Sazz is still alive because i was sad to learn last year she would be the next victim, and the end of the last episode was absolutely brutal. Also, all the talks about Selena's Oscar nomination seem like fantasy to me because she keeps getting worse, and it seems like there's no limit to it. She was so charming in the first season, i don't get what happened to her.
yeah I keep thinking maybe she had a metal plate in her chest so she's not actually dead but that's just me coping because i like her character lol
but also, like, there was only one metal piece in her ashes found so... suspicious [I've only seen the first ep too so idk if anything gets contradicted in the next ep]
I thought that it was suspicious that Charles only found one of her metal joints after they made it a point to have him mention that she had multiple metal joints from Belgium earlier in the same episode, but I have temporarily handwaved it as Charles freaking out after he found one and not sifting through all the ashes to look for more. But if the police don't find more joints in the incinerator, then I will officially be Team Sazz Faked Her Own Death.
Another fantastic episode. I feel so bad for Charles; Sazz really was such a great friend to him.
Detective Charmonique is back, yay! I was cackling at her scene (and when Oliver hollered and fell on the piano - I'm so easy for physical comedy).
This show combines the silly/absurd and sadness so well. The scene with Charles and Sazz on the bed, ending with just Charles alone and hunched over :(
The writing and acting is so good they had me crying for a character who had like less than half an hour of air time across all season? They really nailed selling the history between Charles and Sazz.

I finally binged the show last week and I am here for all the Meryl/Martin goodness. That's genuinely what got me to watch
