It may still be summer but mentally I've moved on to my favorite season, autumn. When this time of year comes around people often share tv shows which get them in the mood, like Gilmore Girls. Endeavour has become that show for me. It's not a cozy mystery or a gritty drama. I'd say it's somewhere inbetween but more than anything it's theatrical!

It was a weirdly comforting watch tho. I loved the setting and the clothes, espesially when the show hits the late 60s/70s. So many amazing turtlenecks.

Isn't that funny? I think something about the length of the episodes, the production value, and it being character-driven makes it feel very engrossing. Like you're just hanging out in a lived universe for a while.

I would say ideally the Pilot is the perfect place to start because it sets the character arcs and everything up really well, and although it might feel slow at first the way it builds as it goes along is satisfying.
However, if you'd like to start with the ball rolling a bit then you can't go wrong with either Fugue or Nocturne imo! And then ofc you can go back to the beginning.

Watch the whole thing in order or do what my sister did. She watched episode 6 first, and it helped her figure out the mystery (because she's an impatient one) and made it easier for her to watch.
