I love Galadriel so muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch. She's a mess but like she's a beautiful mess and she's MY mess.

Yeah I wish they'd done 1 ep a week, buttttt I also get that like since characters didn't appear until ep 3, (like Isildur and Arondir) they might have wanted to make sure we caught up with all characters in week 1 so they released all 3 eps.

Amazon does this with their shows, they've released first 3 episodes of The Boys and Gen V for most seasons.

I just feel totally perplexed by people shipping Sauron with anyone tbh.

My thoughts:

1. It is kinda a bummer that they released 3 episodes in 1 week when it's only an 8 episode season. We're basically halfway through the season now! But I also get it because characters from season 1 didn't show up until ep 2 or 3 and I guess they wanted to make sure all the old characters got their moment in the sun.

2. Celebrimbor, you dumb bitch.

3. Durin/Disa OTP. Disa is such a great character. I love herrrrrrrrrr.

4. Theo is still so annoying. Can he die soon or something?

5. Do you think Estrid is def a spy from Adar? I think she probably is. If she was just someone who had escaped then she would have said so...

6. IDGAF I love the Galdalf and Harfoot adventures! And I am not suuuuper well versed in Silmarillion or Appendices lore so idk who wtf that evil guy is. I can remember there is Gandalf, Radagast, Saruman and then the 2 blue wizards... is this guy one of the blue wizards gone evil or something???

7. Galadriel and Elrond fighting :( but I get both sides, actually. And I love them both.

Re 4: I try to cut Theo some slack because he's a kid and *gestures at the whole mess around him* but they better do something interesting soon.

Re 6: Yeah, that's the most common speculation I've seen. The blue wizards are said to be in the east where they'd start weird cults but they're always mentioned together so it's curious to see only one.

The Halfling storyline is not my favorite but I think they absolutely nail the right vibes with their dialogue and the actors. I'm glad Poppy joined the gang.

I feel like having three episodes at once is a lot. I watched it on Thursday & feel like I need to re-watch episode 3 because I think I was getting too tired by that point.

I actually don't think the rings look all the great, I think I liked the movie ones better.

There was a bit of one episode though that was too dark. I could barely see what was happening on screen.

My love for bb Elrond, Galadriel, Durin and Disa continues to grow. And I'm interested in Isildur a lot more now (Berek!!). And Sauron, you evil thing. I love seeing him manipulate everyone lol
