Pop artist Troye Sivan has given his blessing to pop star Charli xcx to use the "f-slur" (an offensive term for gay men). To her credit, Charli shut him down: "I can't say it."

why are white gays (particular the (elder) twink kind) so obsessed with giving and getting passes to say slurs

if you want to reclaim it, sure. but why encourage others to use language that you know makes others feel uncomfortable

This word is one being thrown around a LOT lately, especially by younger people. Like, people who are LGBTQIA, but aren't gay men...it just feels wrong to me.
