I accepted discovered our lord and savior Chappell Roan. I know everybody was raving about her, but she didn't quite catch my attention even when my friend played her in the car. Last week something clicked and the pure happiness of my cousin dancing to HTG! got to me. The breakup songs are everything I needed right now 😭

I discovered Chappell through Elton John's Rocket Hour playlist but didn't come around to loving her music until she released "Good Luck, Babe." Her album is fun and she has the vocals!

I'm listening to imaginal disk on repeat its SO GOOD. my vinyl finally came in today too and somehow the production sounds EVEN BETTER on it. And I swear every day I have a different favorite combination of songs. I'm so grateful specifically to rina sawayama for having them open her mini reloaded tour last summer. Because I walked away from their set as a new fan so it's been so fun being part of this promo cycle in real time.
