This is the first thing I thought of - I think her son has sensory issues or something if I recall correctly so personally it sits differently with me than someone just seeming like/saying they can't be bothered. I could be being too picky about the wording, and tbh this is a great wank post because eeeeveryone has opinions when it comes to parenting lol

Something tells me that Ms Rachel throughly cleans her child before he wears clothes for the next 15 hrs or so.

I 100% did this when my kid was a little younger and getting him to shower in the mornings was a beast.

Why would you do that to your child?

Unless she's making him sleep in jeans, it doesn't seem that crazy. I'm imagining a tshirt and soft shorts.

Not that crazy, I agree, but it's still unfair to the child for this to be a regular habit, rather than something that happens occasionally because life happens and she wouldn't have enough time in the morning. It's not right, but other children and parents absolutely do judge when a child shows up to school looking rumpled.

I think if the kid was maybe 5 it wouldn't be that bad. But at 7, the kid is gonna have different school activities, like P.E. Not bathing is my issue because it's not uncommon to sweat at night, especially the beginning and end of school years. So it's already soiled clothes.
