I wish I could agree, but he’s directed two of my all time favorites 😭 (The Godfather Part 2 and The Conversation). Men ruin everything!

Of course, The Godfather and The Godfather 2 are very good movies that are beautifully shot and well acted. However, I've always found the God-like worship of these movies among cinephiles a bit over the top. I think it's partly because it caters to a lot of things many men imagine about themselves/are obsessed with. I don't have the fascination with gangsters that other people do.
