I love Trixie’s home (though I also loved the more “modern” one they showed), especially the backyard. I can’t at her starting it like an AD tour 😂

I know she’s on break from drag for a few months but she’s still putting out so much content that she prob ran herself ragged before the official break! I need that stamina.

I loved that her intro was like an AD tour. I also liked that she explained some of the design choices and how it wasn't just "look at my pretty stuff." A perfect example was when she talked about the mini bed on the deck and she said that there's a guy with no curtains in the apartment building next door so they put up that canopy for privacy but it still allows the light through.

The details were amazing in this vid! AD could never lol. I appreciate giving props to the artists/creators for a lot of the items/tchotchkes they have throughout the house.

I also love Trixie's home. I love it when someone has an aesthetic and really GOES for it. Like yeah bb that's your home you should fill it with ALL the stuff you love!

And also tbh I kinda cried when Trixie cried about getting the pink quartz in Trixie Motel 2 because they had a really shit childhood and I love seeing people be able to get what they never thought was possible when they were younger.

Yes, I love when someone really puts their stamp on a space with color and aesthetics instead of creatIng yet another boring sterile home with a neutral palette. Even if you don’t like pink, it’s easy to appreciate how much has gone into decorating this house with personality. I would rather see colors and accessories I would never choose but are colorful/unique than another cream/beige/grey monstrosity.

I know there may be some people who are put off by Trixie talking about some of the expensive stuff she has, but I agree that it's so lovely to see someone who came from nothing finally get to indulge their fantasies of having beautiful things that they thought they would never be able to own (especially knowing that she has been working her ass off to earn this money).

I feel like RPDR needs a wall honoring past winners. Or at least the previous seasons winner
