I don’t know anything about his background, just that JtV is the first time I saw him, nor do I know how much it costs to secure the rights to films so I suppose I should stfu but I’m surprised Baldoni has the money to option these films. But maybe they’re cheap because the source material is, by many accounts, crap? Idk.

what i heard was that he optioned them before the books became a huge hit so he got them for cheaper and that was allegedly part of why colleen hoover sides with blake, because she's mad that she missed out on money if it'd been optioned later. idk how true that is tho!
