"It Ends With Us" star Blake Lively said in an interview that Ryan Reynolds wrote a key scene in the final cut of the film. The movie began production on May 5, 2023 - three days after the start of last summer's WGA strike.

I know she doesn’t have a stylist team, obviously! But does she have a PR team? Because if she does, she should fire everyone. This press tour should be studied because it’s beyond disastrous. If she doesn’t have one, she needs to hire someone-maybe get Jennifer Lawrence’s people. Her next-door, bumbling, humble persona is working well.

It can because I've heard of actors particularly supporting actors never reaching that peak again after winning cause they're profile get boosted and they start asking for higher paychecks which starts backfiring against them.

It's almost better to not win if you're relatively knew to the fame game, it's better to win with already established career with well-known roles.

In some ways I feel Lily Gladstone was better off not winning cause that builds more anticipation and support than if she would've won. It's easier to burn out after such a high.

Jennifer can be very charming though. Blake on the other hand...

The reason it works with Jennifer IMO is because her persona is simply a heightened, more entertainment friendly version of what she already is. Blake clearly fancies herself as a far more interesting and funnier person than she is, and it shows. Instead of embracing her natural persona as a dull housewife who monetizes wellness as a brand & whose hobby is acting, she flew too close to the spotlight thinking she’s a real movie star. If you compare her to someone like JenLaw, all the things Blake lacks (especially the talent) become even more glaring.

It also feels like she was trying so hard to embody/mimic Ryan's comedic style and failing at it.

True. I don’t like him, but it’s obvious he’s actually quick-witted and, I’m sorry, she just comes across as being too dumb to do it. A lot of her “jokes” are just her saying something mean and shady while smiling, lol.

Idk that JLaw has a good PR team either after she jumped to defend Amy Schumer for being a Zionist

I think J Law, despite being annoying at times, is not actually an awful person and has friends in the industry/people like her… unlike Blake.

She is close friends with Amy Schumer, who is staunchly Zionist. JLaw is awful by default of being okay with awful people.
