This is just another example of the internet isn't real because so many people were saying MHJ was the clear winner in this dispute but clearly Hybe went to work. Go Hyun-jung's drama better be as juicy as this. This would make a great thriller type Kdrama.

I think she was right and that's why they couldn't replace her immediately but the board still had the right to replace her when they would have been normally allowed to do so. That's why she won the injunction

She clearly fucked up and got caught and Hybe sent the entire legal time on her ass.

It doesn't prove anything about what "people were saying". Just because they have done this doesn't mean it is legal. She challenged them before and won. I doubt she will just take this quietly.

It's a bit of a chicken or the egg situation, but with how horribly common being weird (or dangerous) about kids is in the entertainment industries around the world, I wonder if it attracts people already harboring those appetites or if being part of an industry that commodifies youth to such a degree warps you.

honestly probably for the best that she can focus on creative production. I've really enjoyed what NewJeans is selling -- imagery and music that is made/directed by women primarily for female consumers in a sea of slop that clearly puts straight men first (though I'll admit K-pop has made massive strides with this in the last ~15 years) -- and I'd be gutted to see them change.

But let’s talk about that rumor going around how her shaman/dead sister ghost person, who was pretty much controlling MHJ’s whole life and personal/professional choices, is apparently DEAD!? Who will she put all the blame on now?

I wonder how this will affect new jeans. I know she is still producing for them but she is probably going to be far more controlled than before

Same. Surely the new CEO would be able to control NewJeans' schedule and block releases and promotions, even if MHJ already has something prepared. Her power came from being CEO, not producer, and usually if the two clash, it's the producer that has to leave. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out going forward.
