I haven’t seen it for 20 years or more, but the scene in Truly Madly Deeply where Juliet Stephenson is sobbing with grief over the death of her partner (Alan Rickman - not a spoiler, he’s dead when the movie starts) has always stuck in my mind. She’s a phenomenal crier.
