Having a residency at Wembly is probably better than them going on the road together. I do wonder how long this reunion will last. Will the paycheck be enough for them to tolerate each other?

Noel did go through an expensive divorce last year so unlike before, he has an incentive to stick with it.

Not only that, but Liam's kept his solo dates pretty light and spread out for the sake of his voice (he sounds decent these days so whatever he's doing is working), so I cannot imagine a huge tour. Residency seems the way to go.

Don't fall for it. They're announcing it with enough time to have at least 5 more significant falling outs. It'll be cancelled and reannounced and cancelled again

"He's a man with a fork in a world of soup" will forever be one of the funniest insults I've read. Give us a book Noel!

I would die for a personalised Noel Gallagher insult, he's got a way with words that makes me think his second calling should have been as a comedian

(no joke, arts opportunities being restricted to the richer classes robs us of so much good stuff from actors/musicians/writers from working class backgrounds)

What made that even better was Liam making a response to something else Noel had said while eating a bowl of soup with a fork
