He's a known alcoholic and he asked her not to start a line of alcoholic beverages and she did it anyway. She also went around saying she doesn't drink and then after her alcohol brand launched, she admitted she likes cocktails and has been drinking all along.

He asked her not to out his love letters in her movie and she did it anyway. I'm seeing a pattern. He has more issues than Vogue and she knew that going in. All this running to the gossip rags to trash him now is low. She was so eager to marry him, she didn't even get a prenup. It didn't work out and she seems determined to take no responsibility for that.

I am not defending Ben because it is very clear he also has issues that are very well documented. But I watched Jennifer's 'documentary,' it was definitely a narcissism project.

The publishing of his love letters to her and letting the entire studio and creative team read to mine for content was a HUGE red flag to me. I would be very upset if my partner did that. And even on that documentary, she mentioned that Ben didn't necessarily like all of this press surrounding their relationship yet he understood that she 'needed' it. So there is definitely some 'This is what I want/need; I don't care if it makes you uncomfortable' mentality on J Lo's end as well.

The most charitable read of it all is that they don't mesh, but I think both of them have obvious issues. So either of them trying to place 100% of the blame onto the other is futile imo.

A lot of the initial criticism surrounding J Lo was valid imo. But, ofc, as usual, the internet starts dogpiling (and a lot of it was over dumb stuff that were not real issues) so then people either forget the legit criticism or begin feeling sorry for J Lo lol
