The closest degree I have to him is when my friend sat next to Dennis, and his gf at that time, on a flight from Hawaii and apparently they both got wasted and my friend had to help Dennis put her to sleep then him. I really don't blame parents for talking their kids up. I feel like if you're a parent, or just anyone you are related to or a life partner to, you talk them up in public and brag on them. Do the real talk in private. I know my dad brags on me to his friends and such and how great I'm doing, while also never saying that a reason I can do well in life is because I had a leg up financially. I own that and don't downplay it, but it would hurt me if my dad was out there telling his friends "well yeah, she's doing great, but she wouldn't be there without what I've done for her".
