I remember when it first aired, it was sooo exciting. I couldn’t believe how far they were taking the Seiya/Usagi thing. I loved it.

Am I the only one who was surprised to see Rei's grandpa just chilling, clearly in earshot, when there was senshi business afoot? I guess Ji-chan gets to know what's happening with his granddaughter and her friends. It's not like he was an active participant, but I refuse to believe that he was oblivious to what was going down.
Also, it's kind of weird to me to see that they called themselves "Eternal Sailor (Planet)" at times, but they kept the "Crystal Power, Make Up!" phrasing.
And... it was kind of weird to have Yaten have such a deep voice and Taiki have a much higher pitched voice based on my familiarity with the OG voices. Plus, their statures and stuff. Nothing against it, just a bit odd.
Overall, I'm glad that I FINALLY got to see these films. I will always love this franchise, it means so much to me. Crystal couldn't compare to the OG anime, ever, but I still appreciate it.

It's true Toei majorly botched this revival and I'll never forgive them for that but I can't lie, I saw it last night and randomly teared up throughout the whole thing. And then the post-credits happened and I just lost it!!! 🥲😭 I love Usagi/SM and UsaMamo and all the Senshi so, so, so much!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Thank you Naoko for EVERYTHING!! 💕💕💕💕💕

Towards the end got me really weepy. I was always super scattered with my manga buying but I did manage to get most of this season in manga when I was a teenager, and it was pretty awesome to see it animated.
