I think people are starved for epic TV, I bet this does well, but who knows how they measure anything. Every movie is the highest rated movie ever, it will be inflated. Regardless I think people want this era of epic TV back.

Literally just finished S1 about an hour ago! Last two eps were so much more exciting than the rest of the season, I'm glad I stuck it out as I def wanted to quit about halfway in. I do love all the costuming in the show and love Galadriels silver armor outfit and the Queens gorgeous gowns.

Bronwyn's costuming drove me nuts as does the obvious makeup look on all of the women, but otherwise some of the looks are nice. Though ever since someone said that some of the elves have Mormon haircuts or whatever I can't get over that lol
