When I went to Ireland I stayed at an old manor house that had been converted to a hotel, and the first night we went to the bar in the basement to have a few drinks. I went to the bathroom down there and the closer I got to it I just had the absolute worst feeling. Like absolute dread. So bad I didn't close the stall door (it was empty) and didn't wash my hands because I just wanted to get the fuck out of there. I've since read Spook by Mary Roach so I'm sure it was just ultra low frequency waves but it was really intense.

Maybe it’s because I grew up next to “haunted” ruins that are over 1000 years old, but things like this just make me want to explore. When we were kids, we’d walk around the ruins and look for ghosts. We never found any.

My parents took me to Gettysburg for a summer vacation in 2004 and y'all, the weird feelings and things we saw and smelled. And the ghosts that I have in pictures.

We stayed at a rental owned by the nicest farm family. The house was over 100 years and amazing but there were long shadows everywhere - that didn't bother us.

I didn't think I could live in an old house, with spiritual presence but you get used to it lol. If they don't do anything.
