I remember when they had the roller coaster thing on their roof in Tokyo and that got shut down real fucking fast
(also I'm a Daiso girlie - in the time I lived in Osaka, IDK if I ever went to Don Quijote LMAO)

Probably on bedding, but I've gotten a lot of random stuff from there over the years.

When my family was visiting, they thought I said 'Donkey' and were confused as how we could buy things from a donkey in the middle of Tokyo. I had to explain I was saying 'Donki, as in Don Quijote, a shop.'

I didn't get a chance to go there when I was in japan but is that how you pronounce it? Damn. I wouldn't have guessed.

I bought a lot of kit kats and gummies there to take back as souvenirs, the first time I went to Japan I bought so many kit kats I almost couldn't fit them in my suitcase. Now I buy less because people aren't interested in weird kit kat flavors so I only buy ones I want now :-/

I read the Japan travel subreddits a lot and there's like a whole group of ppl there who like think they're too good for don Quijote it's so annoying... they'll be like "I've never seen the appeal, I live in Japan and I've never stepped foot in one once!" like ok maybe you don't understand it cos you've never been there.
