Lmfao she has the nerve to talk about showing restraint when she keeps dropping that same shitty album over and over again.

But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives.

i don't like taylor but i didn't find her silence on this problematic. it makes sense she would've waited to say something until she closed out the europe shows and ensured nothing happened at the ones that weren't cancelled. i'm sure it's terrifying to be told that there's a credible terrorist threat that could happen at your show.

I agree of all the things to hate on her for this wasn’t one of them.

Exactly my thoughts. Logically, she can't talk openly about what was afoot. Or may still be in other concerts. I'm not a fan at all but I recognize good security comms when I see it. She's making sure to not give oxygen to the fire.

I agree. Every time there's a mass shooting, for example, the news cycle gets caught in a weird contradictory spiral of "do not give the shooter attention, giving them attention rewards them/feeds their egos/incentivizes other mass shooters/etc." and "here is everything we know about the mass shooter, including when they lost their first baby teeth." She was in a position to generate a lot of attention that could have inspired other people to attempt the same thing at her final set of shows but either chose or was advised not to (and listened to said advice).

I know that wasn't her fault at all but the loooooooong silence after that and her standing up between performances when people usually cheered (and would chant Ana's name) was.....it was...a lot

Can we all just move on from this Republican already?

Can’t wait for the next documentary to come out so she can keep twisting that narrative.
