Ugh. It is very believable that a father would think sports would help his son overcome mental health and educational challenges instead of therapy and tutoring. I legitimately hope Halle gets this resolved quickly, even if that means sole legal custody.

no, they both live in Los Angeles

they did try to move to France when they were still together but the family court judge didn’t let them because Halle’s older daughter’s father also lives in Los Angeles and didn’t want his daughter leaving.

I do not know how I happened into one of the vanishingly few situations where both divorced parents really take the "act in the best interest of the CHILD" seriously but I hear everyone else's horror stories about dealing with their ex and I am so fucking thankful that these kids have four parents they love and who are all equally invested in them. Plus it's been long enough since Husbeast and his ex broke up that it's mostly water under the bridge anyway.

I see similar cases like this up close all the time. Whether it's spouses, on and off relationships, fwb, situationships etc. Always, always assess whether you can have kids with a person, whether you can co parent with them. If you don't think you could, leave them be. Don't get tied to someone for two decades.
