I hate this movie so much. It's devoid of both romance and comedy.

There's a scene where Sydney Sweeney's character and this other women go to pick up a cake and when the shop assistant goes to get it from the back, the other woman puts her arm behind the counter to grab two biscuits and Sydney just accepts it and then the scene cuts and you don't know if they actually paid for the biscuits or they just stole them. This seems like a minor detail but to me it's so indicative of how poorly the characters were written/film was made - because what normal person does that?

I'm not defending this film because it is irredeemable BUT I read that scene as showing that that woman was kinda trashy. but I could be doing the film a bit too much justice lol
