Maybe it also suffered from the fact that the only marketing I saw for it was ONTDers talking about it. Amazon seems to only give a shit about 4 or 5 shows and then throws the rest to the wind to see if anything sticks.
Amazon and Apple are both terrible at promoting their shows, which baffles me. Why spend all this money on cast, writers, crew, etc. and then...not tell anyone that the show exists? Is this all a big scam? Do they get some kind of tax write off for canceling a show after one season? And it never makes any sense to me why they cancel certain shows after one season because there are other shows with worse acting/writing that get multiple seasons on the same platforms.
