I'm going to need ONTDers who have been pregnant to weigh in on this for me.

I know so many facets of how strangers interact with you when you're pregnant ranges from annoying to insulting to outrageous (like strangers touching your stomach) but I've never heard of of "congrats on your bump" being on the annoying list.

i think i would've been taken a little aback by "your bump" at first if i wasn't showing yet. but then i would quickly realize "oh she meant pregnancy in general" bc i am not itching to be offended like Blake seems to be lol

"if you feel the need to acknowledge that she's pregnant" is a crazy thing to say when they put out a press release that she was pregnant lmao. Also the interviewer could've used better words but she essentially said "congrats on the baby" and blake said "and you're fat too"

also you can't tell me the woman who let's taylor swift make a show of "hinting" at her kid's names in her songs is mad somebody is commenting on her pregnancy

i think there was a language barrier for the interviewer, but we all understand what she was trying to say, and her intentions were not malicious.

mte “your little bump” isn’t the most thoughtful phrasing from a stranger but the language barrier alone makes this understandable to me. At the very least Blake shoulda came back with anything other than “shut up about my stomach I’m gonna talk about yours”
