Idk, maybe I'm just spoiled but I'm a bit disappointed that this update is all aesthetics. They had a whole opportunity to give us an extra ending or something regarding the narrative. At last, I was impressed enough with the trailer that I'm still going to get this and replay the game for the umpteenth time.

Apparently the film is going to be nothing like the game and if that’s the case I don’t want it. There’s not even going to be any wendigos. Like wtf is even the point of adapting something if you’re just going to change everything about it 🤬

A lot of people are asking what’s the point of remake but given that the original was a PS4 exclusive it makes sense to make it available to a wider audience with PC especially with the movie coming out.

Also if you liked this game The Quarry is also a lot of fun.

I got everyone to survive on my second run through and it was so satisfying. The stress of this game is also like nothing else. Those QTEs!

I played it recently so I don't think I can justify paying full price but I may enjoy another run with the enhanced version once it comes on sale.
