yeah by the time they announced the cast it was already almost done filming because the strikes paused production so like... we didn't get a cast announcement when we normally would have

hmmm, on the one hand this might be good because ryan murphy isn't writing any of it...

but on the other hand, american crime story (at least the first two seasons) had all of their episodes attributed to (mostly) the same set of writers and this one has a lot more from episode to episode so i wouldn't be surprised if it's more uneven
