Every tv/movie Halloween party that doesn't end in a grizzly murder (and even some that do) always looks so fun. Everyone is dressed on theme, the decorations are incredible the tunes are bumping, and everyone is dancing. In real life there's so many half-assed costumes and rarely enough dancing or decorations. The Casper Halloween dance comes to mind, there's several in Are You Afraid of the Dark, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Halloweentown, Donnie Darko, NBC, etc. The 90s knew how to Halloween party!
I’m always tempted by the Jane Austen festival, which takes place in Bath every September. You get to dress up in Regency era clothes and take dance lessons so you can attend the balls. 2025 is going to be the big 250th anniversary year as well.

That or Winterfest at Buckkeep from Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderling series, because it always sounds so cozy.
