I just caught up with the men's combined final in sport climbing, I'm sad for Colin Duffy :(

Jordan Chiles is most likely going to get fucked over by FIG and the IOC and have to give back her bronze medal even though it was due to the incompetency of the judges. She's also had to deal with a lot of racist abuse. I feel so bad for her.

I have been raging over this all day. The judges admitted they underscored her, and if they had scored her correctly the first time around, none of this would have happened! They also fucked up by accepting the inquiry after time... and somehow she's the one getting punished? They should all be fired.

Also don't even get me started on Nadia fucking Comaneci stirring the pot and liking anti-Jordan comments on social media. Shame on her.

I loved it. I truly don't understand how the scoring works other than vibes. It's the perfect sport for me and the people seemed to be really enjoying themselves.

I really enjoyed watching the dancing but some of the judging made little sense. 🤨

it was fun as a one-off but people are wild if they think it would work as a permanent fixture of the Olympics. and, well, it never was going to be anyway so if people are mad about it not coming back or mad about it possibly coming back... it doesn't matter. however this competition turned out, it was always going to be a one and done and I think that's how it should be

I think now every games should have something weird like that. not just a one-off sport (like LA doing lacrosse, etc), but a one-off *weird* sport. it gets viewers! it's fun! let's do like fucking paintball or laser tag next time idk

The Olympics always remind me of how proud and grateful I am for Title IX and what it did and continues to do for women's sports in this country.
