The first one isn't terrible (although it does sound like something a bunch of other white guys with guitars would release) but the second one is pretty bland.

A few of the popular acts from the late 2010's are struggling. Halsey and Khalid both released albums recently and outside of the Britney drama with Halsey, I don't see anyone talking about the music. Shawn's relationship with Camila and his love for calling the paps on himself definitely kept him a little more relevant than the others but I think his time has faded too. Of course he can always date someone else high profile to bring attention back to himself. Maybe he should go and find Billie lol
Agreed. I didn’t know about Halsey’s release at all but I did check out Khalid’s record right away and there are only a handful of tracks that worked for me. The songs are just not there and there is absolutely nothing fresh about the productions. Khalid and Shawn have managed to actually regress rather than mature as musicians and songwriters and I definitely would have expected the opposite. Hopefully they can turn it around on their next outputs!
Khalid has actually released some great music and the label was promoting it for a good while but it's like people totally moved on from him completely and they don't care what he released.
