I'm pretty sure I've gotten COVID after avoiding it until this point, I'm overnighting tests since all mine are expired. Whatever this variant is, it's harder on the lungs than I was expecting.

A bunch of us (16 total) got Covid for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago at an event and all immediately tested positive. We also all tested negative 5-7 days later. So, I think it’s still good to test.

Maybe it was my tests, but I definitely had it because it felt like when I had it before and I never tested positive. I just quarantined myself like I was positive.

Me and my fam managed to avoid it for 4 years but we caught it in July.

My dad was sick first but my mom did the test and came back positive which shocked us cause we didn’t think it was Covid but a cold. I didn’t take the test but I was already getting symptoms.

Luckily it was pretty mild for us and we recovered fairly well but I do notice my cough lasted a little longer than usual.

Yeah, my cough was awful, and the exhaustion was worse.

Happened to me after three years. It was awful. I'm the type of person who gets severely sick. So it hit me much harder. And the loss of smell/taste afterward lasted for at least a couple of months.

I had it a couple months ago and it sucked. But an 80+ year-old couple I know (one of whom had heart failure) got it and we’re basically fine. I’m not eligible for free vaccines anymore (even though I have asthma), but they are.

I think any protection from previous vaccines must have worn off which is why it hit me so hard.

I passed it to my husband and he developed a chest and sinus infection. It’s nasty these days.

Once it’s been a few months from my infection I’m buying a private vaccine.
