If you look on social media, there are some nice moments coming out of this. Businesses and museums are giving discounts or freebies to people who have tickets to the concerts. Swifties are gathering in the streets, exchanging bracelets, and singing and dancing like they would at the concert.

i've seen some fans that had tickets for multiple shows for the uk dates or who were going with a boyfriend or parent or friend that maybe isn't that huge of a fan offering to sell their tickets to fans that didn't get to go to vienna and i thought that was sweet

Fucking hell! I honestly didn't know I could feel anymore tired and depressed at the state of the world for women, POC, queer people etc. I'm so thankful they were caught. If anything had happened, I wonder if there woulda been riots in Austria like there were (and are!) in the UK atm

I know many people who had tickets for this since Vienna is so close and it's just so disappointing. Many of them stayed in Vienna anyway because they had hotels booked etc. But better than risk it, i think calling it off was a smart move.
