Dylan's hair and stache, while era appropriate, are tragic. But I'm still going to watch it. Stanning is not always easy.

people are being so weirdly negative about this and it’s not just SNL fans and people who don’t like SNL lol.

that being said, I’m fully in the tank for this. I like the structure of it and I love Gabriel LaBelle lol. him and Cooper Hoffman in that scene…very good and I do find that Ebersol/Michaels dynamic interesting. Cory Michael Smith is doing asshole Chevy but in the young Chevy way, you can’t look away from it. the Belushi performance looks more interesting though the wig is still insane. Dylan O’Brien can move like Aykroyd at least.

idk. I’m in the tank for this and the “man before the myth” performance LaBelle is doing. he’s not just pouting and doing Dr. Evil, I’m enjoying what I’m seeing

Maybe watching the entire first season of SNL should be a history course. It was only a year before this show came on that women were allowed to get credit cards and the first batch of 18 year olds were given the right to vote, Vietnam had just fallen and this gang of people could not give away 20 seats

I feel like that's deliberate to look more authentic to the scrappiness of the plot? IDK tho!
