The cast of the Borderlands movie, an adaptation of the popular video game franchise, attended the premiere of their film in Los Angeles (that was also a fan event with a bunch of cosplayers and such). anyway fuck this movie! it looks terrible and i hope it bombs at the box office. like i said before, it really does look like cate blanchett lost a bet

The fucks I give about this movie are inversely proportional to how much I like this game franchise. It was doomed when they cast a tiny man to play Roland of all people.

exactly. the games are so good and so fun, and this just looks absolutely awful. some of the most bizarre casting compared to the source material that I can remember in a long while.

The more I think about it, I’m not sure if it happened because of when it happened? This was going down on myspace and livejournal. So mid aughts?? Or was this more the perfect time for the age most of the users were? Late teens and 20 somethings are far more adventurous/reckless.
