I've seen this trailer twice before both showings of Twisters and I still don't know what tone they are going for lol I don't remember what happened in the book.

Seems like a very expensive lifetime movie.

I want to go see D&W again but idk when.

I know it makes literally no sense at all esp. as they've been using each other's press tours to cross-promote their individual films, BUT....I hope the competition ruins their marriage lmao

Ok I admit I have not and will never read a Colleen Hoover book. But I was hanging out with my super smart and very well read friend and she was telling me that she really liked this novel and can't wait to see the movie??? I was so shocked. I've never read a single good word about It Ends with Us or any of her books for that matter.

I didn't say anything because I haven't actually read the book so being like "I heard on the Internet that it's problematic and bad, pls defend your opinion" is nuts, but now I'm just really questioning her taste in general lol. She reads like 3-4 books a week so maybe she just doesn't care that much about quality or smth? I wish I could read that much but unless a book is amazing, I feel like I always get stuck 30 pages in and it takes me forever to progress.

Jack Edwards who is usually a book snob enjoyed Colleen’s writing because it’s “engaging and a page turner”. I haven’t read the book because the topic doesn’t interest me but maybe her writing style is addictive or something.

It's a very easy reading style - basic and easy to read.

I remember reading The DaVinci Code when it was big and I was in high school. I didn't love it the way my parents did. But it was the first time I was really like "oh, this is really written in a way to keep you reading"
