HBO shelled out some money for Industry's upcoming third season premiere. The cast (as well as co-creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay) attended their first ever carpet premiere for the show in NYC. Returning this Sunday, August 11, the critical buzz seems to be high.

I'm excited!! it's been a while since I watched season 1 and 2 but I binged them in a matter of days, I couldn't stop. such a good watch.

I should probably do a refresh too since I ended up binging all the available episodes during the halfway point of season two, but yeah, addictive watch. Even with the dense finance language.

one of my favourite things about the show is that they don't simplify or cut back the industry jargon, or over-explain concepts. I think they say and show enough to make it understandable and engaging but not excessively. you don't need to know the nitty-gritty of the types of trades they're executing in order to get the drama and the impact of a scene, but if you do understand it or at least some aspects of it, it's that much more impactful.

Yes, it's confident enough in how it's portraying things that it's not going to hold your hand all the way. The way I got so excited when I realized insider trading was finally happening before my eyes.

Fady Elsayed is in this season, but he hasn't been in any of the promo and I don't think he was at the premiere either? Where is my man? They are hiding him. (He probably doesn't have a big part lol.)
