Women Olympics drama continues after the previous post about Simone Biles shading a racist former gymnist that called the US Women's team lazy.

Because OP refuses to watch the video, a summary of another source covering it will be provided instead:

Right? But part of me wonders if her PR people are telling her to keep going? If Chrissy Teigen and Amy Schumer are still “successful” then she and her people prob hope she will make something out of all this. Sorry, I’ve been sick and hope that all made sense

I’m far from perfect and cringe at shit I’ve said and done in the past but damn, they make me feel like a saint. They are the woooooorst. And now I’m going off topic(ish) but I now judge those who associate with them.

She sounds like an immature asshole. Legit someone who would call the cops on people just for daring to look at her in the parking lot

This woman is a POS but how quickly people go to death threats is insane.

It needs to be studied how quick people online are to threaten people's lives with the veil of anonymity.

I think death threats at minimum should get you a fine and like a three strike rule. Death threats aren’t free speech.

So this is a genuine question I have because I always wonder: what is considered a death threat?

"I'm gonna kill you" very clearly is.

"I hope you die", idk, I've never considered that a threat (personally) but then I'm like "maybe that's just me because that's just wishing ill on someone, not necessarily a threat."

So I'm super curious on how you interpret it? Absolutely not trying to stir any shit up, this is very much a genuine thought I have!

Definitely the first but I think it depends on the second one.

I kind of feel saying "I hope something you die" is different to saying "I hope someone kills you" and I feel the latter falls into what could be considered a death threat and the former isn't? I know neither is a direct threat but the latter seems more aggressive.

I'm kind of tying it to r*pe threats where someone saying "I hope" that then I would definitely feel that is threatening.

Says Women Olympics team members are lazy and lacking talent

Feels heartbroken if Simone and other Women Olympics team members genuinely believe she sees them as lazy and lacking talent
